a breath-taking evening!
The captain, Smitty, was an easy going, laid back person, which made the cruise very pleasant. Erin kept the rum swizzles flowing. The sunset was breath-taking and the narrative from Smitty was very informative and comical at times. Smitty saw to it that we avoided a shower from a brief rain storm and all in all it was a great, relaxing time. We would defintiely recommend this cruise to anyone that wants to enjoy a pleasant, laid back and romantic evening.

i luv them swizzle
the night cruise was great very easy going no rush. our tour guy was HILARIOUS thumbs up to that guy.....forgot his name, anyway moving on i love the sunset while we were going to the sunken ship site. when we got there we learned about the great fail of there battle ship and why they had to sink it. when night finally came we all went down to the bottom of the ship and saw many nocturnal fish that you will never see during the day. it was like a different word. at the end of the trip there was a nice rum swizzle waiting for me

Great evening excursion
My wife and I were celebrating our 10-year anniversary and each chose an excursion in Bermuda to partake in. She chose this one, which I admittedly thought was not on of the better choices.
However, I had an oustanding time. It turned out to be entertaining, fun and yes romantic. The crew was extremely friendly, comical and also informative. Learned quite a bit as they handed out multiple swizzles sailing past the docked cruise ships and into the central Bermuda bay.
Once we had a good evening tour, they turned the catamaran back toward the ships, became quiet and it was perfect timing as the sun went down. Quite breathtaking in beauty and an almost climatic feeling about the brief stay in Bermuda.
Two thumbs up here, thanks for the wonderful experience...

My husband and I participated in this excursion on June 17, 2012 on our first night in Bermuda. It down poured most of the day and was very cloudy but the rain did stop before it was time for us to depart (thankfully!) The boat has comfortable mats to sit on in the front and they don't overbook the excursion so there was plenty of room to lay out and lounge. The crew was fantastic, and took us on a nice tour. Because of the clouds we knew it wasn't likely that we would see a sunset, but we got an incredibly educational tour filled with stories and insight into the island. We got a lot of tips on where to go and what to do, how to avoid crowds and where to shop. The rum swizzle is delicious but as another reviewer said, light on the rum. It was fine by me though, as it was refreshing and tasted great! We ended up seeing a lot of the island, and a double rainbow! Even in crummy weather this was a fun time and we would do it again!

Great Time
Did this our first nite in port and had a great time. Comfortable seating on the catamaran and the rum swizzle drinks were tasty tho short on the rum. The Captain and Mate were interesting and entertaining during the cruise and if the weather cooperates - which it did this nite - it's a terrific water view of the bay, the homes, and what a sunset! One of the best things we did all week!

The crew was awesome. All native to Bermuda, they shared information about the island's history, culture, famous people, local politics, funny happenings, and more. They were professional, yet fun. We had about 15 or so passengers along for our cruise, not including the crew of 4. The camaraderie of the group was great as they humorously joked with each other and hung out with the passengers, taking turns telling stories and answering questions. The rum swizzles were the best - they must have a never-ending carafe of the stuff! They even explained that they had to change the recipe from using the Black Seal Goslings to the Gold variety because the Black Seal type was so smooth that no one thought it had alcohol in it.
We sailed upon the Rising Son II, which I was relieved had 2 bathrooms (necessary when you have an excursion with unlimited Rum Swizzle drinks)! The boat was beautiful, comfortable, and quiet (perfect for a romantic cruise like this).
The sunsets were awesome (my camera did not do any justice to how beautiful it was).

Relaxing trip
Captain Mario was very friendly and willing to answer any questions about Bermuda along our ride on a large catamaran for 1.75 hours. The rum swizzles flowed freely and were very good. Assistant Chelsea was also very personable and pointed out spots on the beautiful coastline. Only about 30 on our trip, very relaxing and the crew encouraged passengers to talk with one another, asking where everyone was from, etc.
