Catamaran Sailaway

Take a leisurely cruise along the south coast of the British Virgin Islands and enjoy breathtaking scenery. Moving smoothly through the crystal waters of the Caribbean Sea you'll view some of the other Virgin Islands such as Peter, Salt, and Cooper before your snorkeling experience. You'll see dramatic coral formations, an abundance of brightly colored tropical fish and on occasion a sea turtle or graceful ray. Your excursion then continues to a beautiful beach for swimming. On your return sail, relax on the deck as you enjoy a complimentary fruit punch. Note: Participants must be at least 2 years of age, able to get in an out of the water and must know how to swim. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel.

This is a wonderful excursion for experiencing the beauty of the Caribbean Sea south of Tortola. It was a warm sunny beautiful day. Once out of the harbor, the crew put up the sails and we sped across the beautiful blue Caribbean with spray ‘blessing’ the people in the front. We sailed to Norman Island for snorkeling. The water was crystal clear. There are enough fish, fans and coral for an interesting dive. You can also swim into and explore three caves. Our crew was outstanding. Two were in the water with life preservers watching us. One of them helped a lady from another boat that panicked and tried to climb up a cliff to get out of the water. He talked her down and towed her to her boat with his life preserver. Our next stop was Pirate Bight for more snorkeling and beach time. The crew gave us rum punch and munchies after the snorkeling. At the end of the day the crew put the sails back up and we sped back to Road Town. Most of the seating area on the catamaran is in the sun, so be prepared, i.e. hat, sunscreen, cover up, sunglasses. I enjoyed the snorkeling. My favorite part was fast smooth sailing through the beautiful sea.
