GREAT TIME!
We had a Great time! The crew made sure everyone stayed safe while enjoying the fish and the ship wreck. The BOSS is really cool, just get in and breath.
You do need to swim (float) a short distance and hold your breath to get into the helmet.

Had a Great Time!
This is a fun new way to play in the water with a new kind of water toy. Many of us were a little nervous at first. But there's no need to be as long as you're comfortable paddling around, dunking your head underwater and don't suffer from claustrophobia. There were a number of us older folks as well as kids in our group. You wear an inflatable vest the whole time and have divers there to keep an eye on you. The scooter operates by pushing a button with your thumb to go and steers just like a car. They move very slowly so steering mistakes are no big deal, You ride for 30 minutes in a group at a depth of 8 feet, during which time the divers will take your picture with your camera if you want. Bring an underwater camera! You can buy one on board that takes stills for about $20.00. When not riding you can snorkle in about 20 feet of water and concentrate on watching fish. That was a first for me as well and loved it.
This is not an underwater jet ski. They will not go fast.
Snacks were cookies and soft drinks. The captain teases everybody, so bring your sense of humor, relax and have fun.

Disappointing
I took my sister on her first Caribbean cruise. The yellow subs were her first choice because she had seen videos of my husband and me in Nassau riding them.
First off the crew was condescending, impatient and downright rude at times. I don't think that any of them enjoy their work.
The little subs were very hard to control and were very slow, like the battery was about to run out.
The captain kept mentioning tips and even told us how much he expected everyone to tip.
If you get the chance to do the subs in Nassau, go for it but avoid the sub tour in St Thomas.

Fantastic!
Hands down the most fun excursion I have ever booked. Well organized from start to finish, Crew on dive boat fun, friendly and informative. The BOSS scooters allowed even a novice swimmer to experience the beautiful waters and plentiful fish, it was great! Even though ride was a scuba depths, I felt even more at ease then snorkleing. My partner, who is a certified diver, was also impressed and glad I've finally got to view the underwater wonders he so enjoys.
