Kayak, Hike & Snorkel Of Cas Cay
Experience the St. Thomas Mangrove Wildlife Refuge & Marine Sanctuary. The nature guides will explain the ecosystem during a rest stop while kayaking to the deserted island. After finding a hermit crab village, discover breathtaking volcanic cliffs and the impressive Red Point Blow Hole. Then, snorkel in the clear, protected waters of the coral-fringed mangrove nursery and over the remnants of a shipwreck. Look for iguanas, pelicans, rays, octopus, barracuda, and colorful reef fish.
Note: Participants must be at least 4 years of age, weigh no more than 275 lbs. and must be able to get in and out of kayaks unassisted. Snorkel equipment, a snack and beverage is included. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel.

Great time by all
This was a great excursion. The kayaks are 2 person and the waters are calm and in beautiful preserve area. The guides are knowledgable and very conscience of the wildlife and land. The paddling is not overly strenuous and we had many ages in our group from 17- 70's.
We all would have liked to have more time snorkeling (it turned out to be only about 20-30 minutes total) and the hike could have been cut out totally. I wouldnt call it a hike, more of a walk and they point out some plants and things.
Worth the time and money, we really enjoyed it

Excellent value
This excursion was great thanks to Derek. He did a great job, we learned a lot about an island, sealife. Derek seemed to know answers to all our questions. Highly recommend this one.

Best Excursion Ever
We had fun and learned so much on this excursion. Jason and Sean our guides were very informative and exciting. We saw lots of different fish and sea life while snorkling. The scenery was magnificent. Sean took lots of pictures that you could buy on a CD so don't worry about bringing your camera. I would recommend this excursion for anyone whether or not you have ever snorkled before. If we go back to St. Thomas in the future I would do this one again.

SUPERB Excursion
We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion in January, 2013. Our guides were terrific at educating us, and making everyone feel comfortable with the kayaks. They gave a lot of help and encouragement to the people who were struggling with their kayaks. We saw bazillions of fish during the snorkel time. Seriously. Bazillions. Way too many to count. The hike portion wasn't too long. It was more like a long walk. We're glad we brought our water shoes. The guides discouraged us from bringing our camera, and it probably would have gotten wet. But the pictures the guides took were great, and not too expensive to purchase. We're glad we bought them. This was one of the best excursions we've been on of the 5 cruises we've sailed. We would definately go on it again.

Good Value and lots of fun
We really enjoyed this excursion. Our tour guides were very nice and knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. It was well organized and there wasn't much time spent waiting on others. The water was calm as it is in an area that is protected by a naturally formed barrier made of coral. Therefore, the kayaking wasn't difficult and the snorkelling was enjoyable. We saw lots of fish and our tour guide was quick to point out any interesting looking fish and tell us the names. The hike wasn't much of a hike in that you could wear your flip flops but it was nice and good for getting a few pictures. I really enjoyed our day and would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Should be more excursions like this
This is a pretty good tour. It's more active and outdoorsy than most, which I like. Our guide Christopher--a real pleasant, competent guy--was extremely knowledgable about the flora and fauna and we learned a lot. This is a great tour for those interested in wildlife. Word of warning; everthing is water-oriented so think how you're going to safely carry your camera gear before going.

This was an excellent excursion and well worth every penny paid for it. The tour guides do everthing they can to make sure you have a great day and stay safe while doing so. We would recommend this to anyone that has the chance to go on a cruise to this location. Cannot say enough good things about it!!
