This was absolutely the most awesome, exciting, fun thing, I've ever done. It was the best part of the trip, both my husband I love this excursion. We can't wait to return to this Caribbean cruise, just so we can go back on this zip line excursion, it was absolutely the best! My husband had brought a helmet cam and we got some really great pictures, and everybody enjoyed this quite a bit in our group, thank you, Norwegian

Great adventure!
I am a bit afraid of heights, but could not pass up the opportunity to zip line through the trees of Puerto Rico. The staff was friendly and helpful - making sure you understood exactly how things worked. There was a bit of a hike to get to the first platform, but the trail was marked and there were ropes along the sides to hold on to when the terrain was slippery or sloped. There were 8 platforms and 1 rappel. After the last platform there was another hike to get to the end - it was definitely a workout, so if you're not looking to sweat and get a little winded, this might not be for you. I wouldn't recommend wearing sneakers you don't want getting dirty, and be sure to wear comfortable shorts/pants.

If you want to be on an assembly line
Not worth it in my opinion. The bus ride was terrifying. Much more scary than the zip lines. Once we got to the base camp it was basically an assembly line operation. You were given a short introduction and strapped into your one size fits all harness, Once climbing to the first platform (which was a pretty steep climb) you were quickly clipped to a line and told to go. Then you were grabbed at the end of the line and un-clipped from that line and clipped to the next etc. I believe there were 7 lines in all and one was really short. The worst part was the harness. When you clip on you put one hand on the line in front of you and one on the line above your head and behind you. That hand is what you use to brake. If the line holding you is too long your hand flies off of the line and you twist around and cannot brake. If the line is too short then you are too close to the zip line.
It really makes a world of difference.
Bottom line, I was very uncomfortable and felt very rushed. Not worth the money.

This was my first zip-line experience and it certainly won't be the last. My boyfriend and I did this and it was a great time.
I will say the bus trip up there was a little shady as we had to switch buses, mid trip, to a smaller one to accommodate the narrow uphill roads.
Definitely bring a camera! They were great about letting us take photos of each other coming across the line. I had a small coach swingpack and they let me keep it on. There were also guys with full backpacks on that you can keep on they just add an extra harness for more support.
The hike was steep but easy for those in decent shape. Sneakers are a MUST! There was never a line that you couldn't see the end to and the staff stationed at each landing were nice and made you feel very safe and comfortable. A little pricey as they had the same excursion in Antigua for $30 less pp but we were already booked for something else. But an overall good experience!
