White Pass Railway & Suspension Bridge

From your antique parlor car, gaze in awe at the incredible scenery and hear the stories and history of the Klondike Gold Rush. Upon reaching Fraser, British Columbia, board your motorcoach for a short trip to the Yukon suspension bridge. Experience the pristine air, taste wild berries in season, hear the roar of raging white water, and thrill to the sensations of a swaying walkway over 60 feet above the rapids. Afterwards, continue on your motorcoach for the journey down the west side of the White Pass Canyon. Listen as your driver/guide regales you with stories of the stampeders who trekked through the pass in search of gold. You'll see picturesque points such as Tormented Valley and Pitchfork Falls. Note: This excursion enters Canada - all participants are required to carry a valid passport.

Great views
The views from the train were very pretty. The best seat is definitely on the left side of the train for the ride up the mountain. We didn't see a whole lot on the right side.
We would have enjoyed a train ride back into town more than going to the suspension bridge.
The transfer to the bus took a lot of time. The bridge views were beautiful, just not worth the extra cost and bus ride. We only made one stop for pictures on the bus ride and it wasn't even at the "Welcome to Alaska" sign!
Although this is listed as family friendly, please note there is nowhere to change a baby.
