This tour includes a round-trip cruise aboard a comfortable catamaran. Enjoy spectacular scenery including magnificent waterfalls and mountain peaks, as you travel through the waters of the Lynn Fjord, bound for Haines. Sightsee your way to Haines aboard an exclusive marine wildlife watching vessel. The naturalist guides lead you through this adventure from the gold rush town of Skagway to the quaint community of Haines and ultimately rafting through the world-famous Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve. The preserve boasts the world's largest gathering of bald eagles and is home to moose, bears, wolves, and a host of other animals. Expert guides share their extensive knowledge of the unique ecosystems and the area's rich native history, including the riverside village of Klukwan, the center of Tlingit culture for centuries. At the end of your float, you'll be treated to a picnic-style lunch.
Note: Participants must be at least 7 years of age. Ponchos and boots are provided at the site.

Our guide, Steve, was the best - but they were all wonderful! The rivers were flowing but not like rapids... the guides were safe & attentive to everyone's needs! They had a great equipment & were extremely safety orientated... the lunch at the end was a nice sandwich with coffee & hot chocolate - chips & cookies ... plenty to eat for everyone! Education was overwhelming and we loved this rafting experience .... the trip to Haines was very enjoyable & looked the the Norwegian fjords. We loved them all!
It was definitely not boring! The first part of the river was low, so we had to get out a couple of times and get our raft unstuck! It was fun for us, but for some of the older people, a bit scary...I would definitely check this out fully if you have a special needs person in your party...it was great for us, because it added to the excitement.....oh, and we saw quite a few eagles and beautiful scenery.....our guide, Ben was great....super, nice young man!
