This Will Not Disappoint!
This excursion was the highlight of my Alaskan trip.
The helicopter ride was amazing. Flying over snow capped mountains and landing right onto the Denver Glacier was exciting and daring. The dog sled adventure was really an adventure! The dogs at the musher camp were friendly and loving. They all seemed happy and eager to be chosen for the dogsled team. It was so fun. I was able to drive the team (mush you huskies!) and also to sit and ride. I pet the dogs and they just loved the attention. We were allowed to hold the cutest 4 week old husky puppies. Going on this tour made my Alaskan Cruise even better!

Great Excursion!!
We had a blast doing this excursion! I was so bummed because we tried to do it in Juneau, but it got cancelled due to low visibility for the helicopter. Thankfully, we could book for Skagway. It was great!
Driving the dog sled is a lot of fun and there are spectacular views from the helicopter and on the glacier. Plus you get to hang out with the awesome sled dogs (and puppies too). I would definitely do it again! It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it!

A National Geographic Moment!
Without a doubt one of the best days of my life! I grew up in the Rockies and have traveled the Alps many times. This is a completely different experience and one I'd repeat in a heartbeat. It is pricey but it would be worth it to me to book a less expensive cabin if that were the only way I could afford it. Go!

excellent excursion
I was a little wary at first of dog sledding on dirt paths as opposed to on a glacier, but I am SO glad that my husband and I booked this excursion now. It was in one word EXHILLARATING!!!!. The scenery was to die for and I really appreciated the humane manner in which the dogs were treated and cared for. It was also very family friendly. All staff were excellent and friendly and the dogs were the highlight of the day --they truly love to run!

This excursion was absolutely amazing! The helicopter tour up to the dog-camp had some of the best scenery of the entire cruise, not to mention just the sheer fun of it all. Dog-camp was a blast, the guys live up there 6 out of 7 days, and the only thing that you will be left wanting is more time up on the glacier with them. Make sure you take a turn driving the sled, you will remiss if you don't. Quit mulling over the decision and book this excursion. Make sure you pick an early morning one, so you will have time to go walk around Skagway afterwards.
