Tropical Jungle & River Walking Tour

It's a jungle out there - and we'll guide you through it. Drive along the scenic coastal highway to Mismaloya, one of the most exciting jungle locations in the foothills of the mountains. This exotic tropical forest has been the set of several films, thanks to its dense vegetation and the absolute primal nature of the area. In this jungle paradise you'll have plenty of time to explore the surroundings and take a swim in the natural pools formed by the river and guided walking tour. A Mexican lunch will be served under the palapa before you head back to town where you can either return to your ship or stay in town for some shopping before returning to your ship on your own. Note: Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel if you plan to swim. Wear comfortable shoes.

Be careful
be careful with this excursion. the trail is very rough and unkept, very rigorous. there is a supsension bridge that is missing planks and has broken planks. the tour had two stops, one at a jewelry store and one at a roadside vendor area that should not have been made. lunch is just a ploy to get you to buy a more expensive lunch, and when you do not, service is curtailed.
the area is worth seeing, although it is a movie set prop area, but overall take another excursion
