Canopy Adventure

This private canopy reserve is set high in the remote, verdant wilderness of the Sierra Madre. Feel the adrenaline rush as you whoosh from platform to platform, 90 feet above the rainforest floor. A series of thrilling zip lines gives you maximum opportunity to marvel at the beautiful, lush setting as you effortlessly traverse above huge tropical trees, wild orchids and native birds and reptiles. Hanging bridges built into treetops are reminiscent of Tarzan and there is even a gorilla swing for you to try. An incredible rappel descent to solid ground completes your breathtaking adventure. As safety is top priority, guides have been extensively trained and equipment is the best, with not one, but two safety ropes for your security. This is the most exciting way to explore the depths of the tropical rainforest, for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike! Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age, weigh no more than 250 lbs. at least 4 feet tall and in good physical condition. Cameras cannot be taken on the tour for safety reasons but a professional photographer will accompany the group. There will be some time for pictures and souvenirs.

REALLY FUN
The vehicle we rode in to the site was a very old military style transport. There is a very good reason behind the restrictions mentioned on this excursion. Albeit the transportation was open air and VERY BUMPY it was well worth the trip. We felt very safe with the guides and all the equipment used. The real adventure is at the very end when you get your photos. They are very expensive. We bought a CD that was supposed to contain just pictures of our party for $58.00 (otherwise it was $15.00 per photo) but when we tried to look at the photos the CD had some issues. We were able to retrieve all the photos of EVERYONE (everyone on excursion not just in our party) with NO RESPONSE from the tour company itself about the faulty CD. TIP: ask if their printer is working and choose picture carefully otherwise THIS WAS REALLY FUN AND PHYSICALLY CHALLENGING :)
