Good trip if you're prepared
We had an informative bus guide during our 90-minute ride to Antigua. On the way we saw some volcanoes. It took awhile for the bus driver to find a place to drop us off, so our leaving time was extended to make sure we'd have enough time. Be sure to have your own guidebook or downloaded guide from the internet, but it's easy to see Antigua on your own; there's no need for a tour. We spent just under 3 hours seeing the city and having lunch. We felt the excursion was worth the price.
