Afternoon Beach Bash
If you are the kind of person who likes to ‘shop ‘til you drop' in the morning or just do not want to rush and have lunch on the ship, then you may be wondering how to spend the afternoon? Why not take a trouble-free trip to the beach with us and take advantage of what St. Martin is famous for – it's beaches. Unwind on one of the Caribbean's best beaches, Orient Bay. You'll be driven in air-conditioned transportation to the beach and be greeted by one of our guides who will orient you with all the facilities. You'll be supplied with a lounge chair and cushion in an area reserved just for you, and you'll also enjoy unlimited rum or fruit punch! For approximately two hours you can just relax in the sun, swim, or explore the one-and-a-half miles of beach. You can also take advantage of the largest selection of water sports on the island (at an additional cost), including parasailing, wave runners and non-motorized craft. We have gift shops and you can even get a massage, you name it – we have it! We are the beach experts! Double umbrellas are available to rent.
Note: Beach is European-style, and some nudity may be observed.

Fun in the Sun
I so enjoyed my trip to the beach. The departure to the beach was a little unorganized; however, once we made it to the beach, all was forgotten. The waters were beautiful and the sands were amazing. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice Way to Spend the Afternoon
Visited this beach a week after hurricance Sandy passed, so the waves were still rocking. Tons of fun if you like getting tossed around. Unlimited rum punch was nice (not too strong), and a good people watching place - the endless hawking of goods was a bit annoying, but with a drink in hand, we could overlook this.

Orient Beach
Even though it was raining when the bus pulled up to let my boyfriend and I and others off at Orient Beach, it quickly cleared up and was a beautiful afternoon. Rum punch flowed freely, it was not over crowded. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas to be had. A fun day at the beach!

The beach is beautiful! The tour guide was fun and informative. There was still enough time to explore all the shops right by the pier when you get back and do some shopping as well. St. Maarten is the most beautiful and friendly place I have been to in my entire life.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON WATER SPORTS !!!!!!!!!! PARASAILING!!!!!!!! WASTED AN HOUR ON THE BOAT AND DID NOT EVEN PARASAIL HAD TO GO IN OR MISS MY BUS THAY LIED AND SAID WE HAD PLENTY OF TIME

Beautiful beach and waves
My two children, my husband and I absolutely loved our day at this beach. The water was beautiful, and the waves made for some excellent body surfing. We did observe some nudity, but the kids did not seem to notice. The rum punch was quite awful, (if there was any rum in it at all.) However, we did not come for the rum punch, but came for the sand and waves; and we left very satisfied.

Dangerous Beach

Heed warnings. I was tossed by a large wave and ended up with broken hand, bruised ribs, wrenched knee and a terrific shiner! All in waist deep water. No small fry-180 lbs! Also, beach chairs jammed together, not fun! Too many ladies hawking wares. Irritating. Would suggest another beach.

couldn't see the ocean
The bus ride out was fun as was the guide we had. Rum punch great, and they 'fixed' it up if you asked. However, the reserved area, had loungers bunched together, row after row and you couldn't move them. The little space between them was filled with people selling you their wares for the entire time. I really just wanted to sit and watch the ocean for the afternoon but couldn't see it.
