Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime experience, the thrill of racing aboard a multimillion-dollar America's Cup race boat. Two classic thoroughbreds nearly 70-feet long with masts the height of an eight-story building, duel in an equal match for a fractional advantage. They round the first mark and head off on the next leg. The race boats slice through the clear blue waters at speeds you have never sailed before. The skippers and crewmembers explain the strategy for winning the race, and you rise to the task! And, as if by miracle, a photo boat arrives to record for posterity the moment you raced a '12' to 'victory' in the St. Maarten 'America's Cup' 12-Meter Regatta.
Note: Participants must be at least 7 years of age and possess sailing experience. Participants with no sailing experience must be at least 12 years of age and 21 years of age to be served alcoholic beverages. This tour is not recommended for guests with limited mobility.

Don't miss this excursion
This excursion was a highlight of our cruise. Who wouldn't love sailing around a beautiful, blue harbor? But what made this trip really great, is that it is interactive. Everyone was assigned a job and actually played a role in our sailing adventure. I'd never sailed before and it was a great experience that I'd definitely recommend.
This was a great experience and one I would highly recommend. The staff was friendly and very helpful even with the high winds and waves that hampered the race. Great time that my wife and I will never forget. You should try this excursion.

lived up to the billing
this excusion was a blast, they put about 18 people on each yacht and gave everyone a real working job if they wanted it. they explained how sailing works and how the race was run. they had us all working as a team. if they had it rigged as to which boat would win, they didn't let on to us.
This is really fun. If you're passive, you get to go on a great ride in some beautiful water. If you're active, you get to actually help crew the boat, which was a blast. The crew was really pleasant and we won the race! One minor complaint is that the sailing time is kind of short; we were probably only out for an hour or so. Think about bringing a water-proof camera as it can get wet on board and salt water wreaks havoc with electronics.

Fun
Great excursion. Granted, it wasn't really a race -- the other boat had a fouled jib for most of the sail and would have lost a real race in a time likely measured in hours, not minutes.
Super windy day; plenty of room to sail in the great bay and just outside. The jibs on these boats are cut like bikinis, dramatically cutting the speed, but we were doing about 10 knots -- about what an excursion crew could handle.
Would sign up for this again in a minute.

If you've ever watched an America's Cup race, you will absolutely love this adventure. You will talk about this the rest of your life. Don't forget to buy a t shirt so you can show it off next time you're at the YMCA. After your sale, I recommend going to a beach bar for a pick up game of beach volleyball, "everyting Kool".
I was hoping this was going to be a lot more exciting because of the other reviews, but wasn't very impressed for the cost. Next time I won't choose something where I just go in circles in the bay. Also, it didn't even feel like we were really racing, we slowed down towards the finish line to make it look like a close finish.

Best Excursion Ever!
Getting to actually sail on these boats was an amazing experience. Our family loves sailing, and it doesn't get any better than this.
