Tree Top Zip Line Adventure

This tour is an amazing zip line canopy experience that combines zipping high above the treetops with unique and exciting canopy bridges and observation platforms. Enjoy seven zip line runs (up to 800 feet in length) and four bridge crossings as you soar through the canopy of Kauai's silent giants, a grove of 200-foot tall Norfolk pine trees. Gliding 60-85 feet above the forest floor, you'll be able to experience life from a bird's eye view. Come explore and have the ride of a lifetime. Once you are up in the trees you stay in the trees! Fly through the forest over pine, mango, eucalyptus, bamboo, native plants and bird life. Mountain views are outstanding! Ecology narratives are included. This thrilling and impressive tree top tour is sure to be etched in your memory forever. Note: Participants must be at least 9 years of age, weigh between 70 lbs. and 250 lbs. and be comfortable with heights. If you have an existing heart condition, back problems, or are pregnant, this tour is not for you. Must wear closed-toe shoes, pants, with long hair tied back, and no dangly jewelry.

Am not a jock or very physical type, but I thought...once before I was 65, I would do something daring and exciting in my life. So I dreamt of ziplining in Kauai. I was NOT disappointed. The experience was fantastic! I wouldn't go out of my way to do it again...but I would recommend it to anyone who'd want to do something daring in their life once. I ain't a little scardey-cat anymore.

Exciting Zipline Adventure
I'd never ziplined before and am so glad we chose this adventure with Just Live! The entire staff was great -- friendly, experienced, encouraging and fun. We knew that we were completely safe and could enjoy the whole adventure. The course was so much fun with multiple ziplines, suspension bridges and enough challenge to take it over the top. Ziplining was definitely on my "promise list" of things to do and I couldn't have done it with any better group!

Fun for the adventurous
This was a very fun excursion. Our guides Nate and Danny were very professional, and made the trip very enjoyable with a little bit of humor throughout the trip. This was not my first zipline experience, but was still a very good course.
I would do this excursion again.

what a blast!
i'm in my 50's and had some misgivings about doing this. But the staff were great! they gave a really good safety briefing before starting out, and helped everyone at each station along the course. They were all strong young guys who made it look easy, of course.
Read the description carefully before signing up, it's not an exaggeration. There are 7 zips, but also several suspension-type bridges to cross, where you walk on an open trestle and hang onto ropes. At all times you are connected to a safety harness, but still, when you look down, it's a long way! (the staff said the highest point was about 93 feet).
I have done one previous zipline where we had to wear heavy gloves to slow down at the end of each zip, but this course was different. No gloves required. Each zip ended with a ramp-type platform to land on. It was easier, and a staff was also waiting on the platform to catch us.
You won't be disappointed if you try this one! Even those who were really nervous at the start ended up having a great time by the middle of the course.

Tree Top Fun
This was a great experience. My wife had a lot of fear getting strapped in to that first zip, but very happy after she finished. We were at least 50 feet off the ground for the entire 3 hours, the sights were amazing. All the zips and bridges were very safe and the two guides were helpful and experienced. We had our thirteen year old son with us too, he also had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone who might enjoy a thrilling day in the trees. There was a total of 7 zips and you do the whole tour with a group of 10-12 people.

This was one of the highlights of our cruise in June 2012. I am 56 yrs old and VERY scared of heights so was apprehensive about attempting this. After you take the first "step" you'll find there is nothing but fun to be had. The crew was outstanding and very supportive (thanks Jared and Krystal!). I highly recommend this excursion--there are 7 zip lines that take you through the forest. The next time we go to Kauai I want to do this again.

This excersion was great and is exactly as described in the tour description. I personally had never been on a zipline before and was a little fearful but the two tour guides were so professional they both made me feel safe through the entire tour. A definate must do for all ages (watch the weight restrictions they weigh you to ensure you fit within their guidelines). A portion of the fees go to help at risk teens.
