Mokihana Helicopter

Marvel at the colorful cliffs of Waimea Canyon and the ruggedly scenic Na Pali coastline. Enjoy breathtaking views of mist-shrouded Mount Waialeale, the wettest spot in the world, and the beautiful Wailua Falls, where some of television's "Fantasy Island" was filmed. Your journey into the beautiful and majestic 'Garden Isle' unfolds as you listen to a beautifully choreographed narration on an individual stereo headset.

This was our #1 favorite activity of the entire trip. The views were breathtaking. I have never done anything like this before, and would definitely do it again. Very safe. 6 passengers. Pilot very safe, knowledgeable, smooth ride. This is the most beautiful scenery I have seen in the world so far. This is truly what I think of when I picture Hawaii. We were up about 60 minutes and every bit of it is gorgeous.Spend the $ because it's worth every penny! I tried to focus on scenery and not worry about taking pictures. There is some glare. The DVD is worth buying.

Awesome views of the island with our pilot Nathan! From the harbor to the canyon to the coast, we saw it all. We even saw a number of whales off the Na Pali coast. Nathan kept us informed as to what we were seeing and why these locations are significant (culture, movies, etc.). This trip was worth the money!

We must admit we booked this 55 mins helitour online in advance. It's a one of a kind experience. We were able to fly over the entire Kauai - our favourite Hawaiian island - and experience dramatic scenery. You have two options: either enjoy every minute of the ride(as my wife did) or try to shoot photos and videos, but miss the real exciting of this tour.
Even if it's pricey I would highly recommend and do it again, eventually over other islands

Unbelievable
Words cannot adequately describe how amazing this trip was. Kauai is so remote: this is really the only way to see most of the island. You have the option at the end to buy a video of your flight. Only complaint: instead of driving us back to the ship, staff directed us to take the local shuttle back I should have pushed them for the return ride that they owed me.

great time
This was my first tiime on a helicopter so i was not sure what to expect. I was surprised what a great time i had. Our pilot did a great job of explaining where we were at and if there was something special about an area. He flew into such small spces it amazed me. I got such great pictures of canyons, waterfalls and Napali coast, I would highly recommend.

AWESOME!!
Best views of the entire trip!! Amazing!! We were hesitant to do this excursion because of the cost, but we are SO glad we did it!! This was our last excursion on the cruise and it was a perfect way to end our trip!

Motion Sickness Sufferers No Worries!

This is amazing and breathtaking look at an island that is so lush! Views you would not be able to see otherwise. If you only take one excursion, this is the one to take. I was worried about motion sickness and was amazed that I had no problem! I usually have problems with Imax movies! The ride is very smooth no stomach dropping or crazy turns. "Jimmy" got us in close to so many wonderful waterfalls and breathtaking sights! The best part is that for $25 you can purchase a DVD that shows everyone on the flight as well as everything we saw. The BEST souvenier ever! Not a "canned pre-recorded" one but one of YOUR flight! Wear dark colors to help limit reflection on windows for picture taking. And the fresh air vents ARE your friends..makes you feel more like you are outside than in a helicpoter.

Exciting Experience
We took this tour on our second day of Kauai which was also our last.
You begin the tour by taking van to center where you get safety drill and get weighed so they can decide where you'll sit in the helicopter. They you get back in the van and head to the airport, which is a short ride.
My husband got stuck in the middle of the backseat and kind of missed out by not getting a window seat. He felt kind of claustrophobic, but it didn't bother me at all.
You see all of the island and it is quite mesmerizing. Although the canyon is spectacular, I enjoyed the coastline the most.
The tourguides really go in every nook and cranny of the mountains and you get a really nice look at the waterfalls.
At the end of the tour you have a chance to purchase a video of your ride.
If you've never been on a helicopter ride, this is a good choice. I heard other people on the ship talking about the helicopter ride in Hilo to see the volcanos and that sounded great as well. Kauai is a beautiful island and this is a great way to see it.

Amazing!!!
This was so incredible. It was expensive, but in relation to other copter tours, very reasonable. And all that you get to see...WOW!! You see so much that you can actually only see by air, and the pilot was great, kind, and full of information. I tend to get motion sick sometimes, and no problems with this. Really phenomenal!!
