Rainforest Ropes & Challenge Park

Different from all the other canopy zip line experiences, this one will actively engage you. Swing, balance, and climb your way along this giant jungle gym in the big trees of the rainforest. Your guides will outfit you with safety equipment and instruct you on how you'll safely navigate the course set in the canopy of Southeast Alaska's temperate rainforest. The ropes portion includes eight different spans across the trees. Some of the ropes elements include suspended logs, rope bridges, a Tyrolean traverse and swinging steps. The ziplines encircle the course which is spread out over a forest preserve. There is an added option of a 50 foot climbing tower for the more adventurous participants. A circular staircase inside the tower enables others to climb up and snap a picture of the mountain and ocean view or of their companions happily ringing the bell at the top of the wall. Note: Participants must be at least 11 years of age and weigh between 70 and 285 lbs. You should expect to walk on uneven terrain and must be comfortable with heights.

fun in the trees
My husband and I enjoyed this excursion. The challenge couse was just enough of a challenge to be fun without being frustrating. And they had a way to get you around the course if you weren't up to it. Our guides were friendly and engaging.
