This was our first and most anticipated shore excursion. It was definitely a really good time. The helicopter views were amazing and the dog sledding was really fun. Everyone that writes a review is so complimentary, it set my hopes up a bit so here's a few heads up: 1. You are seated in the helicopter according to weight and you are CRAMMED in there. I was disappointed that I wasn't in the front or by a window and it was hard to get the pictures that I could have. 2. The dog sledding takes you in a loop, not to any specific part of the mountain you can't already see. Still great views, still fun just to watch the dogs and how much fun they have. Also, it's only 5-10 mph, but I thought that was fine. 3. I thought there were going to be tons of puppies to pet/play with at the end, but there were only 3 for approximately 12-15 people. We were in the third group so we only got about 2 minutes each with one puppy. That was disappointing since we were very excited about that part. 4. (This is neither good nor bad) They give you boots to put on over your shoes, plus other safety equipment so just wear enough to stay warm and they'll take care of the rest.
Those are just some heads up - the main point to be taken from this was that it was really fun and a great trip. I still think the price was steep for the actual excursion but for the experience - I have NO qualms about what we paid.

Worth the cost
The best excursion anyone could ask for. Dogsledding! The scenery was spectacular and our guide ( I wish could remember her name ) was very very nice.
This is a once in a lifetime experience.

The Best - a MUST DO
We loved this trip from the moment we took of until we returned. Great views of the glacier as you fly by helicopter to the Huskie camp. Plenty of oppertunities to learn about the dogs and sledding before setting off on the snow. This is the 1 excursion you MUST DO!
