Customer Reviews for Rainforest Zipline & Waterfall
Your group gets split into two. One goes zip-lining the other goes on a nature hike in the Botanical Gardens. The zip lines are safe and fun. The guides control your speed so no need for hand braking. So many things to look at it is hard to choose. The gardens walk shows many types of plant life and very informative.
We are a couple in our 50s and wanted to do something fun and unusual while we were in Hawaii, so we chose this zip-lining excursion. We were not disappointed. It was SO much fun! The course is well-designed and the scenery is beautiful. Our guides, Preston and Hazley, were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, funny--but also very safety conscious. We would highly recommend this excursion.
This was an AWESOME excursion. We went in January. The staff has a place to lock up belongings you bring that you cannot zip with. They provide rain gear if needed. Be sure to wear long shorts and take a camera. The zip lines are all ground to ground so you don't have to worry about stopping yourself. The guides control it. There are suspension bridges, too. The scenery is outstanding. The ziplines are great fun & exciting. You need to be able to walk from zip line to zip line but the paths are all easy to manage. After the zipline adventure we had a guided tour of the botantical garden. We learned a lot! We didn't get to see much of the waterfall because it was raining to hard (the only time the entire cruise). The guide provided everyone with an umbrella. One guide told us a 92 year old woman had zipped there a week earlier! I highly recommend this excursion. We did both the zipline in Hilo and the treetop zipline in Kauai. Both are awesome. This one is easier overall.
