Eco-horseback Adventure
This exciting tour begins with a ride along the beach and into the ocean on well-trained horses. You'll also ride through the unique eco-system of the Grand Bahamas and past Cooper's Castle. As you ride, your guide will tell you the story of the Bahamas as they point out flowers, trees and bush medicine plants.
Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and weigh no more than 200 lbs. Wear long pants and shoes that can get wet. Bring a small bottle of water, disposable camera, sunscreen, bug spray and sunglasses. All items can be purchased at the stables. Riding helmets are recommended and available at no charge. Guests must sign a waiver release form

Do it once, you'll be satisfied
Both of us are 40 and we brought our 14 year old girl and 15 year old boy. First impression of the place was run down stables and wild cats everywhere. However, once you got to talking with the owners it started to turn cool and you accepted the way things are. They are a couple that truly love their animals and their island. The trail to the ocean was incredible going through the different stages of woods. Very educational the whole way there. Once we made it to the beach even tourists were taking pictures of us in the water. One of the guides takes your camera and he took pictures of the family along the way. They came out perfect. Overall, we would recommend it!! We probably won't do it again but the one trip was worth the money. Kids were very happy.

Great tour if seas are calm

My wife really wanted to do this tour. I had never been on a horse before, so I was a little apprehensive. It was great. They take all your stuff for safety reasons, but one of the guides will take your camera and get great shots for you. Wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet.

Nothing Great
My family of 5 did this excursion while in Freeport. The stables were pretty rundown and my horse did not want to cooperate. This would not be something any of us would do again. They also told us that if we donated money to their wild cats they help around their area that they would send us via email all the pictures they took of us and so far I have received nothing.
