See the best of the vibrant Grand Bahama Island on this adventurous Jeep® tour. A short bus ride from the pier will take you to your awaiting Jeep®. Your adventure begins as you hop into your Jeep® and drive off, on the left side of the road, following British tradition. En route to your first stop you'll see Taino Beach, a popular hangout, Sanctuary Bay where the dolphins live, and a picturesque community which is a replica of the original New Plymouth homes of the early settlers. During the stop on Casuarina Bridge, your guide will inform you about Freeport's unique history and its founder, Mr. Wallace Groves. Your adventure continues with the off-road segment through Grand Bahamas' pine forest over some of the island's highest ridges. Enjoy a short hike to an inland Blue Hole and then get back in your Jeep®. Afterwards, refresh yourself with a dip in the crystal-clear waters on a beautiful beach and enjoy a native light snack.
Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age. Guests wishing to drive must be at least 25 years of age and present a valid driver's license. Four guests per Jeep®; Jeeps® have manual or automatic transmission. Swimsuit, towel, camera, sunscreen, and strap sandals or closed-toe comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Jeep® will travel on unpaved roads at times and the ride will be bumpy. This excursion is not recommended for pregnant women or guests with back/neck injuries. Guests must sign a waiver release form.
