Adventure Park, Zip Line & Snorkel

Enjoy the excitement of ziplines and high rope course bridges at the amazing beachside Adventure Park! After a short taxi ride your expert guide will outfit you in your safety equipment including harness, helmet and climbing shoes. Then it's off to play amongst the six spectacular adventure towers. You can fly through the air on a series of ziplines, cross between the towers on three levels of exciting suspension bridges, try a climbing route, and rappel off the highest climbing tower in Mexico while your friends and family cheer you on! Next you'll be given state of the art snorkel gear and guided into the crystal-clear aquamarine water! This is one of the island's premier snorkeling areas with thousands of colorful fish and amazing underwater views accessible right off the beach. Afterwards savor an icy cold beverage or delicious snack from the beachside bar and restaurant or lounge by the pool in sun. You're welcome to stay and enjoy the private beach and pool for as long as you like. Return transportation is available at regularly scheduled intervals. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age and weigh no more than 300 lbs. This adventure is perfect for all abilities, no previous experience is necessary. Please bring your swimsuit, a towel and socks.

Good family entertainment
I really enjoyed my self, and I would go back, but this is not quite as advertised. Read all the way down to hear this out. The zip line is not through a jungle or over a river. It is between poles about 25 feet apart. BUT, this is an ingenious set up! There are 5 tower structures that are interconnected with zip lines, and rope bridges. There are staff members waiting for you at each structure to ensure you are harnessed and safe at every point. You zip to one tower, repel down another, rock climb the next, etc. I think your kids would get a kick out of this! The restaurant attached to this is wonderful! it is right on the water. The bar / restaurant is like a large patio, covered, but open toward the water. The food was fantastic! I had fish tacos, and I was stuffed when I left. Wait staff was the best! There is a pool, and a small beach for the kids to play while you sip beer and admire the ocean view.

This was a great family experience. I took myself, my wife, my 13 and 10 year old boys and my 14 year old niece. Our guide Ramon was great as was all the staff. We had great fun on the adventure course and then on to some great snorkeling. We then hung out by the beach and ate at the restaurant (not cheap by any means but ok food so don't expect a bargain there). It was the most fun we had on our whole trip. We definitely recommend it.

WOW
First of all, I don't know why this tour gets low reviews. It clearly is the most bang for your buck. We did rock climbing, rappelling, rope bridges, and snorkeling. Very safety minded and attentive staff. We felt very comfortable with the whole tour. We had so much fun we are thinking of going back to do this tour again. Kudos to NCL for adding this one to their shore excursions.

We were pleasantly surprised by this excursion. We were a little skeptical about it, as the zip line/adventure park was near an old hotel and not in the jungle... but it was fantastic. The people working the adventure park were patient and helpful (we didn't have kids, but we observed them being wonderful with kids in our group). It was really neat to be able to look out over the ocean while zooming down a zip line. The optional rock climbing walls have fantastic views from the top too!
After the adventure park, we traded in our climbing gear for snorkeling gear. We've snorkeled many times in Cozumel, and this was the best variety of fish we'd ever seen. This was in large part because of our guide- he brought fish food along with him, which caused schools and schools of fish to surround him- offering a huge variety of fish for all of us to see. We were even able to see eels and a barracuda.
When we finished snorkeling, we turned in our gear and had the rest of the day to relax at the day resort. There are so many lounge chairs available, and it was nice to have the option to sit either on the beach or by the pool. The restaurant was fantastic- we used our drink coupons for complimentary mojitos and ate the best nachos we've ever had. There were cute little shops to browse, and when we were ready to leave, it was a breeze to catch a cab back to the port (the cabs are included in the price of the excursion). This was so well worth the money- we will definitely be doing this excursion again when we return to Cozumel!!
