Land's End Boat & Scenic Stop

At the end of the Land's End boat Tour (previously described), you'll be escorted to a waiting vehicle for an approximately 15-minute non-guided drive through town to Sunset Da Giorgio's restaurant. Its spectacular location atop the cliffs at the far end of the bay provides an unforgettable view of Land's End, its famed arches and your ship, at anchor in the bay of Cabo San Lucas. There you'll have ample time to enjoy a complimentary beverage, take pictures or just relax and enjoy the view. Continuous taxi shuttles will whisk you back to the pier for last-minute shopping on your own.

Upon arriving at the dock we were escorted to our boat. The boat tour around the point to see Los Arcos was fabulous. The tour description wasn't quite loud enough over their loudspeaker system, but that's a minor quibble. At first, my wife and I thought we sat on the wrong side of the boat again, but when the boat returned, we got a great view from our side.
Once leaving the boat, we boarded a bus where we drove though town going by such scenic wonders as Home Depot, Sam's Club and Costco.
We were driven to a restaurant that overlooks the bay. The location has a beautiful view of the harbor, and we were all given one drink. The restaurant was closed and rest room facilities were not all functional so many of the people on the two buses that arrived there at the same time spent much of the allotted time in line waiting for the single set of rest rooms. I didn't downgrade the rating because of their facility problem as it is not a normal situation for them.
The restaurant's multiple level terrace was beautiful and the view of the bay was very nice, but we could have easily skipped this part of the tour. If they were to modify the tour to have the restaurant open and given time for a lunch, this would have been a 5-star review.

Before discovering the joy of snorkeling we used to take scenic cruises or city tours. Looking back now, this tour was relaxing, very scenic and fun.
We had plenty of photo opportunities and time at leisure to make friends and chat with them. Cruising around the rock formations gave us a big-real picture of Los Cabos, in case we would come back for an all inclusive resort vacation.

I've always wanted to go to Cabo San Lucas and it did not disappoint me. The boat was a beautiful 3 level catamaran which got up close to the shore, though not as close as the small boats do. The scenery was exquisite. We saw sea lions sunning on one of the huge rocks and also putting on a show in the water. While you can see the famous arch from the cruise ship, this excursion gives you much more time to enjoy it and take photos. We then took a bus ride to a scenic stop on the other side of the bay. There were beautiful terraced patios with decorative pools and lounge areas and across the bay you could see our cruise ship and the famous arch behind it. The only thing that could have made it better is if they served us lunch on the beautiful terraces and had some live music. But it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
